Aka Duo received the 2025 Osaka Cultural Festival Encouragement Award in recognition of the success of their recital held at The Phoenix Hall (Osaka) on August 6, 2025.
This award is presented by Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, and the Kansai-Osaka 21st Century Association, a public interest incorporated foundation, to recognize outstanding performances held within Osaka Prefecture with the aim of encouraging and promoting artistic and cultural activities and fostering momentum for cultural promotion in Osaka.
The 2025 Osaka Cultural Festival Awards are awarded to performances held within Osaka Prefecture between January 1 (Wednesday, national holiday) and December 31 (Wednesday), 2025, based on the overall excellence of originality, planning, content, and technique. This year marks the 62nd time the awards have been given.
