The recital held at the Aoyama Baroque Saal Hall (Kyoto) on November 9, 2024 was honoured with the 34th Aoyama Music Award ”Baroque Saal Prize".
This prestigious award is bestowed upon musicians who have demonstrated exceptional promise and dedication to elevating the artistic calibre of music. The selection process involves a rigorous evaluation of performances held at the Aoyama Music Memorial Hall Baroque Saal, which is operated by the Aoyama Music Foundation, between January and December 2024. Only those entries that have received the approval of the award committee are considered for this accolade.
The Aoyama Music Award is a collective term for the three awards, Newcomer Award, Aoyama Award, and Baroque Saal Award, which have been continued since 1991 by the Aoyama Music Foundation, a public interest incorporated foundation, under the philosophy of "supporting young people who love music." The awards use a unique judging method that comprehensively evaluates the concert itself, including not only performance technique, but also enthusiasm, future potential, program composition, and appeal to the audience.
